Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation is waiting for the political committee to decide on purchase of six new aircraft for the Nepal Airlines Corporation (NAC). Soon after the government decided to purchase six new aircraft from Chinese company AVIC Holding, the cabinet has further asked the political committee to study the purchase plan and give its opinion. "The final decision is upto the political committee and we are hopeful of buying six new aircraft for the ailing NAC," said joint secretary at the ministry Ranjan Krishna Aryal.
